She said . . . . “ I had to go to North London and wanted a friend of mine to get me a gun.” . . . . She knew she was talking bollox. I knew she was talking bollox and the Judge knew she was talking bollox. But that was not the agenda this day.
So much bollox in fact that in a chat with her a few days after the Court case I chided her about the incident. “That was a very silly thing to do Pauline, you can get up to seven years in prison for that sort of thing.” . . . She said sheepishly “ I was only trying to frighten you off. I didn’t know you owned the flat upstairs.”

BUT it wasn’t funny at the time . . We didn’t know if she was part of some yardy gang. We didn’t know what sort of friends she had. We even thought she might be in on Patel’s blatant (AND STATED) scheme to steal our property.
